CAMH Social Entrepreneurship in Mental Health Equity Awards

The Toronto Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, in collaboration with MaRS Social Innovation Generation and Ashoka Canada have been examining how social entrepreneurship can reduce the large disparities in mental health experienced by marginalized groups in Canada. Their most recent endeavor has taken the form of a search for social enterprises in Toronto that are making inroads in mental health equity. We would like to invite you to attend an awards ceremony on January 18th at the Gladstone Hotel, from 1:30-2:30, where you can hear about:

  • how social entrepreneurial approaches are having an impact on mental health disparities
  • the roadmaps for service development being created by the CAMH Social Entrepreneurism in Mental Health research group
  • celebrate some of Toronto’s most exciting social enterprises that represent new ways of thinking about how mental health disparities can be reduced
