The latest news from the CAMH Foundation

Dear Friend of CAMH:

If you’re interested in mental health, it’s time to fire up the PVR. CAMH and TVO are teaming up to shine a spotlight on mental health with a week’s worth of programming designed to engage, inform and inspire.

On May 4, tune in to The Agenda with Steve Paikin at 8 p.m. to hear from child advocate and national philanthropist Margaret McCain, who recently announced a $10 million gift to CAMH designed to improve the system of care for children, youth and families in Ontario.

Then during Mental Health Week, May 6-12, TVO, in association with CAMH, will present Mental Health Matters, an informative series about mental illness and addictions. TVOKids will also air the Help Zone special, My Feelings Matter, on May 7 at 4 p.m.

To get you warmed up for next week’s mental health marathon, check out The Agenda’s, Roots of Addiction. And hats off to Steve Paikin and the entire TVO crew for making mental health matter.
