Each year the CAMH Foundation hosts two signature events. The CAMH Transforming Lives Awards and Queen Street Unmasked. In between, there is no shortage of generous and imaginative supporters who hold special events to benefit CAMH. Whether it’s a golf tournament, a gala, a fashion or a music event – there is something for everyone when deciding on which event to attend.

HATS ON FOR AWARENESS
On Friday, September 11th, over 500 people wore their fabulous hats to show their support
for those affected by mental illness and addiction. $40,000 was raised in support of CAMH.
It was "the promise" that has taken 20 years to fulfill, and the many individuals and organization who have partnered to make a difference.
"It is a problem that affects so many Canadians and their families" says Co-chair Enza Checchia, founder of Decorenza Inc., a leading interior design company. Her co-chair is Benny Caringi, President of Sunbrite Drapery. "We
came upon the idea of Hats On as a highly visible way to draw attention to addiction and mental health"
Attendees included: Ambrose Price (Celebrity Designer,HGTV), Cheryl Tiegs
(former supermodel), George Chuvalo (ex-heavy weight boxer), Glen Peloso
(HGTV Resturant Makeover), Linda Leatherdale (Toronto Sun Money Wise
Columnist), Jim Caruk (HGTV Handyman Superstar show), Amanda Morra
(Top Selling Artist), and Rick Green (comedian and CAMH 2009 Transforming
Lives Award Recipient).
